Peterbilt of Joplin’s Glenn Larson named 2006 North American Peterbilt Dealer of the Year

Glenn Larson, Dealer Principle of The Larson Group, was named the 2006 Peterbilt Dealer of the Year. Larson won Peterbilt Dealer of the Year in 1998 for the Peterbilt of Joplin dealership, as well as in 1995 and 2003 for the Mid-America Peterbilt (O'Fallon, Mo.) dealership.

“Glenn is consistently one of the top performing dealers in our network and is a valuable asset to our organization,” says Bill Jackson, Peterbilt General Manager and PACCAR Vice President. “He exercises continual improvement practices throughout all areas of the business to exceed customer expectations and ensure satisfaction. Glenn has enhanced Peterbilt of Joplin’s ability to serve customer needs by utilizing Peterbilt’s full product lineup and aftermarket services, as well as the resources of PACCAR Financial and PACCAR Parts.”

More than half of Peterbilt of Joplin’s new heavy-duty truck sales were of aerodynamically styled models, helping customers lower their operating expenses through the improved fuel economy of the Peterbilt Model 387 and Model 386.

“Knowing our customers and then customizing solutions that meet their full range of business and operational needs continues to be instrumental to our collective success,” says Glenn Larson, President of The Larson Group. “Every member of The Larson Group is focused on customer service, and winning Peterbilt Dealer of the Year was a true team effort.”
