TLG To Sponsor Hurricane Express Event Featuring Parade Of Trucks

West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma – The Larson Group is a sponsor of The Great American Convoy on Friday, June 8, 2018.

The event, put on by Hurricane Express, will last from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will include free dinner and door prizes.

At 8 p.m. anywhere from 50 and 150 trucks will journey west on I-40 as a symbol of unity among truck drivers.

Shawn Smith, (western) Regional Sales Manager for The Larson Group, said, “TLG believes it is vitally important to engage and partner with our customers to ensure we are providing every avenue of success for them.”

In a recent article by CDL Life News, Sheldon Steinert, the Hurricane Express vice president said, “Our goal is to show camaraderie among the trucking community – regardless of the company name on the door of their truck.”

Before the drive, door prizes and trophies will be given for first through third place for: Most Lights, Best Custom Paint, Longest Wheelbase, Biggest Sleeper, Oldest Working Truck, Most Aerodynamic, Least Bumper Clearance, and more.

The event will also include a bounce house for children, a live DJ from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and a live band from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
