Since launching Google My Business and Maps listings in 2016, TLG Peterbilt locations have generated over 2,000 online customer reviews and have maintained an average rating of 4.1.
TLG received its 2,000th online review this week. To make the milestone even more special, the five-star Google review came from a customer who has worked with TLG for many years and for a variety of services. He even recently purchased a new truck.
Craig Williams, a longtime Mid-America customer, wrote on Google:
“I have been driving for 40 years and I have not ever been in a shop as good as the TLG in O'Fallon Mo. The personnel are the best people.”
According to his Google account, this is the only review he’s ever written.
Alerted in real time, TLG discovered this was review No. 2,000 since setting its dealerships up on Google My Business and Maps in 2016. There was an obligation to thank the customer as quickly as possible.
To Mid-America's surprise, Craig was still on-site servicing his truck.
The dealership’s service manager Mike Paganini approached him to give thanks and offer some Peterbilt merchandise. Comically, Craig had just purchased a ballcap at the parts counter, which Paganini covered in full.
Paganini said, “[Craig] told me he has limped trucks past multiple dealers just to get back to Mid-America.” Williams recalled driving to the O’Fallon, Missouri dealership from as far as Kansas City and Des Moines, Iowa just to be serviced there.
“He trusts us, and he doesn’t think there is a better dealer out there,” Paganini said.
